The Elizabethtown/Mount Joy Christian Women's Connection invites local women to attend a "Take Me Out to the Fair" brunch on Thursday, Oct. 3, at 9:30 a.m. at Gus's Keystone Family Restaurant, 1050 W. Main St., Mount Joy. The set price is inclusive.

Ken Myer and Sally Nolt from the Elizabethtown Fair Board will give a behind-the-scenes look at the fair. Cherie Lasher, a retired educator, guidance counselor, and social worker from Wells, N.Y., will share her story in a presentation titled "Known, Accepted, and Restored."
