Women's conference slated in Ephrata

An Embracing Joy Women's Conference will be held on Friday, March 24, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., with registration at 5:15 p.m., and on Saturday, March 25, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will take place at Ephrata Business Center, 400 W. Main St., Ephrata. All girls and women age 15 and up are welcome.

The main speaker, Shari Zook of Meadville, will present "Life Story" and "Living Healed While It Still Hurts." The breakout sessions will be "You Want To Do What?: Dealing With Our Children's Choices" by Linda Bergey; "Lord, Teach Us to Pray" by Julia Lehman; "The Journey of Grief" by Kendra Martin; "Meeting the Emotional Needs of Children and Beyond" by Donna Yoder; "My Husband's Definition of Respect" by Joyce Weaver; and youth sessions by Marlene Oberholtzer.
