The Elizabethtown/Mount Joy Christian Women's Connection invites area ladies to attend its "Patriots in Petticoats" brunch on Thursday, July 10, at 9:30 a.m. at Gus's Keystone Restaurant, 1050 W. Main St., Mount Joy.

Virginia Merritt from Clyde, N.Y., an author, will share "Former Hippie Finds True Freedom."
