The Elizabethtown/Mount Joy Christian Women's Connection invites area ladies to "A Journey Towards Joy" brunch to be held on Thursday, July 13, at 9:30 a.m. at Gus's Keystone Restaurant, 1050 W. Main St., Mount Joy. The set price is inclusive.

Sandy Heisey, a vocalist from Mount Joy, will provide a program of patriotic music.

In a talk titled "From Cultural Bondage and Abuse," Michelle Kim from North Brunswick, N.J., will share about her transformation from a hopeless pessimist into a joyful optimist.
