Newcomers and Neighbors of Lancaster is welcoming its 24th year with a new board of directors and a variety of activities, including a new walking group, movie and restaurant get-togethers, book clubs, a community project, and outings.

Donna Landis, a founder of the nonprofit women's group, has been elected president for the 2022-23 club year. Other members of the executive board are Maria Quaranta, first vice president; Nancy Houghtaling, second vice president; Lorraine Chiota, recording secretary; Donna Kline, corresponding secretary; Lynn Fyfe, treasurer; and Dottie Yuska, immediate past president.

General board members include Dzintra Gorman and Chris Hausner, general meeting coordinators; Elaine Long, special interest groups; Josie Smith and Cheryl Waack, community service; Pat Boatner, historian; Nancy Ilg, newsletter; Judy Adams, directory coordinator; and Lis King, publicity.
