On May 7, the YMCA of the Roses hosted its annual marathon and half marathon to raise funds to support individuals facing chronic diseases. Over 600 runners came out to race 13.1 or 26.2 miles on the York County Rail Trail.

The winners for the men are Andrew Simpson, York, who completed the half-marathon in 1 hour, 15 minutes, 24.2 seconds, and Dylan Zuch, Mount Joy, whose full marathon came in at 2:36:42.9. The winners for the women are Olivia Tiburzi, Ellicott City, Md., who ran the half marathon in 1:30:12.1, and Abbey Kambouroglos, Leesburg, Va., who finished the full marathon in 3:08:48.9.
