YMCA To Open Facilities For Free

The YMCA of Greater Brandywine (YGBW) is welcoming the whole community to use branch amenities for free for one week during December as part of the Gift of Health program. The free program began on Dec. 26 and will run through Saturday, Dec. 31.

Chester County residents and visitors who are 18 years or older can use YGBW branch facilities for free; children under the age of 18 are welcome to visit with a responsible adult.

Family members visiting during the holidays are also welcome to spend time at the branches, using the indoor tracks or taking part in group exercise classes, among other activities.

Branch amenities range from indoor and outdoor pools, more than 40 indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, hundreds of group exercise classes, social groups and clubs for seniors and a variety of family-friendly events - all of which are included in membership. Branches are located in Coatesville, West Grove, Kennett Square, Exton, Berwyn and West Chester.

To take advantage of YGBW's Gift of Health, visitors should bring a valid ID to the branch of their choice. To learn more, visit http://www.ymcagbw.org.
