The club's annual meeting and covered dish dinner will be held on Friday, Oct. 6, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the York Township Park Building. Featured will be the election of officers. A 6- to 8-mile will be offered on Sunday, Oct. 8. The hike will start on Teal Trail then take multiple trails exploring Spring Valley Park. Attendees should bring snacks and water and wear good hiking shoes. The group will meet at 9 a.m. at Spring Valley County Park. A 3- to 4-mile hike will take place on Sunday, Oct. 15. The group will meet at 1:30 p.m. at the parking lot at Bridgeway Church, 255 Reynolds Mill Road. Participants will hike down the hill to Lake Williams then head back up the hill on a different trail followed by a walk along Perrydell Farm Road to 209 Reynolds Mill Road for some hot soup and social time.
