Zombie Fun Run benefits Breast Cancer Coalition

Field of Screams hosted its 12th annual Zombie Fun Run on Nov. 16, raising $8,900 to benefit the PA Breast Cancer Coalition (PBCC). Participants had the option to register as runners or zombies as they made their way through a course of movie-quality scenes. Runners crawled through mud, jumped through fire and climbed over a dozen obstacles.

Proceeds from the event will be used to provide breast cancer research grants, personalized patient advocacy and support services like PBCC's free Friends Like Me care package program for newly diagnosed women. To date, Field of Screams has contributed nearly $80,000 to the PBCC.

The PBCC is dedicated to improving the quality of breast cancer education, research, programming and advocacy across the state. For more information, call 800-377-8828 or visit http://www.PABreastCancer.org.
