The Strasburg Marketing Association will celebrate Third in Strasburg on Friday, July 17, from 5 to 8 p.m. Participating businesses will stay open late, offering special deals, discounts, and activities.

At Barebones Bicycle and Fitness, 21 W. Main St., people may enjoy music by DJ 45 and an art show featuring Mark Zane.

Wesley United Methodist Church, 40 W. Main St., will host a children's carnival featuring games, bubble parties, cotton candy, food, face painting, temporary tattoos, a patriotic photo booth, and drawing with chalk. An ice cream truck will be on-site with sweet treats available for purchase. In addition, the church will collect food for the local food bank.

The Lancaster County Art Association, 149 Precision Ave., will hold an Open Studio Night. Visitors are welcome to bring their own art supplies and draw and paint in the gallery. The gallery will also be open, showcasing works by local artists.

The Strasburg Heritage Society's Joe Deevy will present a Story Bench program, sharing stories about the Revolutionary War in Strasburg. The location of the program is forthcoming.
