Bears Bring Home Several Medals from L-L Championship

- Elizabethtown’s Cassidy Carl works to take down Warwick’s Christie Gay during the opening round of the L-L League Girls’ Wrestling Championships on Saturday, January 24, at Manheim Township. Carl was able to bring home silver.

- The Bears’ Zaria Phillips throws down and pins Manheim Township’s Sophie Bajorek in 0:35 during the L-L League Girls’ Wrestling Championships on Saturday, January 24, at Manheim Township. Phillips was able to capture second place in her weight class.

- Ava Glass of Elizabethtown takes down McCaskey’s Persile Kala during the second round of the L-L League Girls Wrestling Championships on Saturday, January 24, at Manheim Township. Glass brought home some second-place hardware.
- Chazlynn Heaps
- On Saturday, January 24, at Manheim Township, Elizabethtown’s Braelynn Lee (235) wraps up Lebanon’s Nataliah Rodriguez during the L-L League Girls’ Wrestling Championships. Lee brought home gold in her weight class.
- Elleyana Handran
- Elizabethtown’s Sophia Acharya (142) works to roll over McCaskey’s Tyra Bookman during the opening round of the L-L League Girls’ Wrestling Championships on Saturday, January 24, at Manheim Township. Acharya secured fourth place.
