Charlie Creighton, a Lampeter-Strasburg High School wrestler and Lancaster Alliance Wrestling (LAW) member, was scheduled to represent USA Wrestling Greco-Roman Team Pennsylvania at the 2023 U.S. Marine Corps Junior and 16U National Championships. The championships took place at the FargoDome in Fargo, N.D., from July 14 to 22 and offered competition in men's freestyle, Greco-Roman and women's freestyle.

To qualify for his spot in the National Championship, Creighton placed second in the Greco 16U 152-pound weight class at the PAUSA State Championships at Alvernia University on May 20.
