Eighteen former students from Southern Lancaster County Joint High School, now Solanco, in Quarryville celebrated their 70th class reunion on Oct. 16. The attended enjoyed a meal at Melissa's Country Grill.

Thirty-one of the class's 97 graduates are still living. In attendance at the reunion were Barbara Reese Sample, Betty Herr Book, Kathryn Lowe Myer, Roberta Trout Deibler, Jane Stokes Hershey, Jeanne Rohrer Helmers, Beverly Autland Wimer, Verna Mueller, Patsy Jones Books, Viola Mueller, Bill Wallace, Lyn Roper, Robert Probst, Howard Howett, Sam Groff, Donald Kreider, Taylor Lamborn and John Young.
