The Malta Band of Lancaster will present a free concert to the public on Sunday, July 18, at 7:30 p.m. in the pavilion at Village Park, 800 Village Road, Lancaster.

This year marks the 109th year the concert band has been in existence, providing musical programs in the Lancaster area. The band is under the direction of Bo Weaver and consists of 45 musicians. Together, they play a wide variety of music, including marches, popular music, Broadway tunes and semiclassical pieces.

Attendees are advised to bring a blanket or a lawn chair. In the event of rain, the concert will take place at Lampeter United Methodist Church, 1101 Village Road, Lancaster.
