The Strasburg Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, at the Strasburg Fire Hall, 203 W. Jackson St., Strasburg. Local author Nancy Groff is slated to speak at 1:30 p.m.

Groff is the great-grandaughter of Peter T. Watt of Watt and Shand of Lancaster. Her presentation will be on the history of Watt and Shand and surrounding Lancaster. Copies of her book will be available for purchase after the event.

Guests are welcome to attend. There is a nominal registration fee at the door. Membership in the Strasburg Seniors is open to residents of the greater Strasburg and surrounding areas who are age 50 and older. For more information, call Jill at 717-239-1530.
