Library Announces July Activities

The Quarryville Library Center, 357 Buck Road, Quarryville, has posted its upcoming programs.

Baby's First Story Time will be held on Tuesdays, as well as Saturday, July 18, from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Family Story Time will be offered on Wednesdays, July 15 and 29, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Registration is requested.

A representative of PA CareerLink Lancaster County will be at the library on Wednesday, July 22, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The navigator will be on hand in the Reference and Resource Section to help patrons with job searching, career exploration, expanding their computer skills, and improving their resume and interviewing skills.

The Knitting and Crocheting Group will meet on Thursdays from 1 to 3 p.m. Anyone who knits, crochets, or makes other needle or fabric crafts is welcome to attend. While at the library, participants are encouraged to check out the Knitting Korner.

The Know Thy Shelf Teen Book Club will meet on Thursdays, July 9 and 23, at 6 p.m.

The Master Gardeners will present "Adventures With Herbs" on Saturday, July 11, at 11 a.m.

A variety of activities will be available in connection with the Summer Reading Program. These activities will include Archeology in Lancaster County; Coding for Kids; Crafts in the Middle; Dino Tales; Mini Chef Creations; Junior Chefs; Classifying Dinosaurs, presented by the Lancaster Science Factory; and Native Pennsylvania Wildlife, led by Raven Ridge Wildlife Center.
