Village Library Posts Programs

The Village Library of Morgantown, 207 N. Walnut St., has posted its upcoming programs. Additional information is available by calling 610-286-1022 or emailing smolibrary@gmail.com.

Weekly activities will include Puzzles and Pals on Tuesdays from 1 to 2 p.m., for seniors; pinochle on Wednesdays from noon to 5 p.m., for seniors, with no registration required; and tai chi on Thursdays from 9 to 10 a.m., for adults.

The library will host a movie matinee every Friday this summer from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The movie will be appropriate for people of all ages. Attendees may bring a snack, pillow, and blanket. On July 10, the movie will be "National Treasure: Book of Secrets," and the library will provide popcorn.

The Yocum Institute for Arts Education will offer a "Build a Dinosaur" activity for children on Wednesday, July 8, from 10 to 11 a.m.

Story Time with Miss Pam will be held on Thursday, July 9, at 10 a.m.

Drawing Club will meet on Saturday, July 11, from 9 a.m. to noon. The program is geared for elementary-age children, and all materials will be provided. The club provides an opportunity for parents, children, and friends to draw together.

The library will host Pokemon Club on July 11 from noon to 3 p.m. People of all ages are welcome, and they should bring their own cards.

Lego Club will meet on July 11 from noon to 3 p.m. Geared for elementary-age children, the club offers an opportunity for kids to build with their parents and friends. Legos will be provided.

The library will host chess on July 11 from 10:30 a.m. to noon. People of all ages and skill levels are welcome to participate.

Moms' & Kids' Play Time will be held on Monday, July 13, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Attendees may bring a snack or lunch.

The library will offer a paleontology program for children on Wednesday, July 15, from 10 to 11 a.m.
